awake, awake my love ...

Add Image
"lady i swear by all flowers. Don't cry
- the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids' flutter which says

we are for each other; then
laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life's not a paragraph

And death i think is no parenthesis"

e e cummings

he looks at her and wonders why she is asleep
it is the middle of the day and
there is much to be done

later on as the sun is beginning to set
the wind is blowing and he is cold
why won't she awake
perhaps she did not sleep well last night

awake, awake my love
I cannot be alone for one second longer
for sleep is silent but I am not

Enjoy the Ride

you can't put out a benzene fire you can only contain it -

it's like gasoline & matches and I'm on my axis

Hemingway wrote
The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

What all this says about us is that Jackie Robinson had to put up with a lot of garbage in 1947

so what I am trying to tell you?

sit back & enjoy the ride

WAITING ON THE WIND

he sits and listens to the wind
to the echoes going back & forth
silent yet piercing
are the answers apparent
are they within me or without ?

they say everything can be explained
but not always logically
the rational mind is not always irrational

when the windmills move
is the wind really blowing ?

POETRY IN MOTION

as we move through space and time
is it all really m theory ?
string theory without the strings
does one thing explain it all - in one congruent theory
will you read things into this that I meant to say
but
really didn't
there is no direct or indirect hidden message
just spinning windmills
Don Quixote knew where to look but I have no horse
